“I would give DRJ a higher rating, but 5 is as high as it goes. We had our event (a Lunar New YEar’s Party) this past Saturday, Feb 21, 2026. He’re how it went.

Their communications and correspondence were exemplary. They never ghosted me or made me feel like I was bothering them or asking stupid questions. After all, they do this all the time and I’ve only done it once.
I ordered a full roast pig. David made sure he confirmed the start time of my event and the serving time so he and his wife were there in plenty of time for completion of the roasting, presentation, carving and serving. They even accommodate my strange request for the pig to be wearing sunglasses. 😊
The pig, of course, was delicious. As the host, I received multiple compliments, when of course, the compliments belonged to DRJ Catering. The sauces and rubs were absolutely delicious and I think I’m going to order more sauces from their website.
I plan to use them next year, as our Lunar New Year party will now become an annual event. Next year, I think I’m going to try their brisket, chicken and maybe some other things on their menu. I wish I could have a party every weekend just to invite them to cater!

I highly recommend DRJ Catering. They were easy to deal with, friendly, on-time, professional and of course, the food was excellent. I, and more importantly, my sister and my wife, were extremely pleased. I will definitely engage them again!

“Dear David and Regina,
Thank you so much for catering my wedding. You did a fantastic job from start to finish. I thought that this little note might help other people planning an event know what a great Catering company they would be hiring if they chose yours and they best way I could do that was by telling my story.My finance and I had gotten engaged and decided that we wanted to get married in a couple of months. We had been together for six years and wanted to do something very casual. We thought of a Luau since my childhood dream was to get married in Hawaii, however, my finace has four children and we could not afford to take us all, so that was out. I started searching the web for places down the Jersey shore that might be able to accomodate us and the simple gathering that we wanted.I came across a website for DRJ Catering and they had the perfect Luau package. I called and spoke with Daivd. Let me just stop the story here for a second to tell you, he is the BEST! Okay, back to the story. So I talked with him for awhile and we talked about food and what would be included in the package and I told him that I would get back to him because I was looking for a house to rent out to have the wedding and reception.

A few weeks later he called to follow up with me and I told him I wasn’t sure what I was going to do, because everyone that I had contacted would not rent out their homes for a wedding and I might have to go somewhere else. I told him I would let him know.

David then went above and beyond his job by helping me find a place that would allow a wedding there. It was a Motel in Pt Pleasant that had a gorgoeus patio, a heated pool and the beach right there. I was estatic and my finance and I went to check it out and speak with the owner.

From there we changed the menu to a barbecue feast and we discussed all the logistics. David was there for me throughout the whole process. Any questions or concerns he was always a phone call away and never made me feel as if my questions were stupid or that I was annoying him (You could not believe how many people in that line of business act as if they are doing you a favor for catering your event). David was professional and friendly the whole way through.

David and Regina along with one of their employees came to set up nice and early the day of the event. Everything they said would be there was there. They helped us by renting a tent(Since our wedding was right on the beach), tables and chairs. We did not have to worry about a thing.

I hope this letter proves how grateful I am to the wonderful job the DRJ Catering did for us. Thanks again you all made our day so very special.”
