Operation BBQ Relief Fund Raiser in the Catskills

Grillin’ and Chillin’ in the Catskills to Raise Money for Operation BBQ Relief. Star studded pitmasters got together for the weekend at the Emerson Resort in the Catskills to raise money for Operation BBA relief featured a welcome cocktail party Friday night followed by a day of Demonstrations Saturday and a Burger battle with the winner getting a Golden ticket to the Word Food Championships with an evening dinner and Auction. Operation BBQ Relief Effort deliver over 50,000 meals in California Wild Fires

This week we served our last meals in Northern California. The 8 days we were there we served 53,078 hot bbq meals between the two locations. We had two locations running serving meals and getting them out to the first responders and those in need. Operation BBQ Relief Feeds Residents After Hurricane Mathew Hit North Carolina in Oct. 2016

Operation BBQ Relief DRJ Catering pulled the smoker down to Fayetteville, North Carolina in October 2016 to work with this awesome group. They are a 100 percent non profit donation driven organization that feed people after natural disasters, they started after a small group of BBQ enthusiasts on their own started feeding people on their own dime after the Joplin Tornado outbreak a few years ago and has grown and most recently served their 1,000,000 th meal.
